Taoiseach Simon Harris is set to convene a taskforce to drive the reopening of the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk, which has been closed since a rockfall in 2020 made it unsafe.

He is working alongside Cllr Louise Fenelon Gaskin to establish the taskforce, which will consist of all the relevant stakeholders, state agencies and Wicklow County Council. The Taoiseach also stated that the Government stands ready to provide any necessary funding to support the reopening of the Cliff Walk.

“I am determined to see the Bray to Greystones Cliff Walk back open,” stated Taoiseach Harris.

“As an avid walker, and someone who grew up nearby the Cliff Walk, I know how important this Cliff Walk is to the community.
