Met Éireann issues Status Yellow rain warning for one county with flooding also possible in other areas
Met Éireann has issued a Status Yellow rain warning for Donegal today, with widespread rain and spot flooding also possible in other counties.
The warning is in place from 2pm today until 10pm tonight.
It will turn cloudier today as outbreaks of rain in the west become more widespread through the morning and afternoon.
They will be heaviest in the west and northwest with spot flooding in places.
The rain will become lighter and patchier from most places in the evening. Highest afternoon temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees today and between 10 to 13 degrees overnight.
It will be mostly cloudy tomorrow with outbreaks of rain continuing to ease and become patchier through the morning.
There will be a good deal of dry weather in the afternoon and evening along with some brighter spells, with highs of 13 to 16 dropping to 6 to 11 overnight.
On Tuesday, foggy patches will clear through the morning to leave a largely dry day with just some patchy rain and drizzle at times.
