Ryanair has received “copper-fastened” legal advice that Transport Minister Eamon Ryan is obligated under European law to deal with the controversial Dublin Airport passenger cap, the airline’s group CEO Michael O’Leary has told the Sunday Independent.

The airline will launch a case in the High Court early this week seeking an expedited hearing and an injunction against the Irish Aviation Authority’s (IAA) decision to cut slots at Dublin Airport next summer, he said.
