Rain to clear this morning as Met Éireann predicts change to weather for remainder of week
Any lingering rain will clear this morning and give way to a dry day with sunshine, Met Éireann has said.
Rain or drizzle in the midlands and southeast of the country will clear ahead of a bright day with sunny spells, staying mostly dry with a chance of some light, isolated showers.
Highest temperatures today will range from 13 to 16 degrees in moderate to fresh northerly winds.
It will stay dry and clear tonight but some mist or fog may arrive in the west and southwest, with lows of 3 to 7 degrees, slightly milder near the east coast with lows of 8 to 11 degrees.
Dry and bright conditions will continue into Wednesday with a mixture of sunny spells and some cloud. There may be one or two passing showers and highest temperatures will again be between 13 and 16 degrees.
