Two teenagers die, a third in serious condition following crash between tractor and car in Co Mayo
Two male teens have died following a collision between a tractor and a car in Co Mayo on Friday night.
Two occupants of the car, a male juvenile in his teens and an adult male in his teens, were fatally injured in the collision on the N83 at Levallyroe shortly after 8pm.
Another male juvenile in his teens was transferred to Mayo University Hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The driver of the tractor, a man aged in his 50s, was brought to Mayo University Hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
A Family Liasion Officer has been assigned to support the families of those who died in the incident. The road remains closed while Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carry out a technical examination.
