Dublin v Roscommon: Holders get All-Ireland SFC group campaign underway at Headquarters
Build-up:

Dublin come into the game as provincial champions (no surprise there) with Roscommon aiming to make up for a relegation in the league and a poor Connacht championship campaign, where they were beaten by Mayo by five points.

Davy Burke’s side look to get back on track in this group, with games against Mayo and Cavan to come.

Roscommon pulled off a shock at this stage last year when in the corresponding fixture, they drew with Dublin 1-11 to 0-14 in Croke Park.

They seemed to be on the crest of a wave at that point but ever since a subsequent final round group stage defeat to Kildare, things have gone down-hill as they lost to Cork in the preliminary All-Ireland quarter final.
Roscommon will be hoping to re-capture the form they showed in this fixture last year, with that game remembered for a remarkable passage of play where they kept the ball from Dublin for six minutes of the game before a Ciaran Murtagh point.
