Former work colleagues of Donna from the Centra store in Moville have paid a moving tribute to the friend they said was the ‘heart and soul’ of their work family
Donna McDermott, who was in her 30s, died following a two car collision at Quigley’s Point at 11.15pm on Friday night.
She was the fifth person to die on Donegal’s roads in just thirteen days.
Ms McDermott’s remains will leave Eamonn McLaughlin’s Funeral Home in Carndonagh this evening at 5pm and go to her home at Ballymacarthur, Greencastle.
She will be reposing at the family home tomorrow, Tuesday, September 10, from 11am to 9pm.
The funeral will take place in St Mary’s Church, Ballybrack at 11am followed by interment in Ballybrack Graveyard. The funeral will also be streamed live on Eamonn McLaughlin Funeral Director’s Facebook page.
Ms McDermott is predeceased by her father Brendan and a much loved daughter of Mary.
