Baggotonia Festival

Baggotonia Festival 2024 will take place on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st of September on Dublin’s Baggot Street Upper.

The inaugural Baggotonia Festival is a celebration of the community, history, arts, culture, entertainment and people – past, present and future – in the area emanating from Baggot Street Bridge – an area known as Baggotonia.

Baggotonia Festival 2024 programme includes three different strands; Community, Culture and Celebration. Events include: Plein Air Painting Competition, Community Expo, Culture Trail Walks from Dylan Hotel, Open-air Poetry , Film of the Festival – ‘Ghosts of Baggotonia’ by Alan Gilsenan, Book of the Festival – Prodigals and Geniuses of Baggotonia by Brendan Lynch, Baggotonia Walk of Shame, Children’s Art Exhibition, Community Yoga, and music and celebrations at Waterloo and Searsons!

Baggotonia Festival sponsors include Dublin City Council, Aviva Stadium Fund and pTools Software. All are welcome and all events are free to attend.
