Italian Institute of Culture and Trinity Long Room Hub, Friday 27th September – Sunday 29th September
The Italian Institute of Culture is happy to organise the second edition of the Festival of Italian and Irish Literature in Ireland – FIILI – in collaboration with Irish PEN/PEN na hÉireann and Trinity College Dublin and with the support of Literature Ireland, Trinity Centre for Literary and Cultural Translation, Embassy of Switzerland in Ireland and Society of Italian Studies. Partners: International Books, NewItalianBooks, Discover Irish Children’s Books and The Company Books.
The second edition will focus on the theme ‘Wor(l)ds of Change’ and will include a rich series of conversations with Italian and Irish authors.
This year, the Festival will last three days. The first (Friday, September 27) and the last (Sunday, September 29) will be dedicated to translation and children’s literature, while Saturday, September 28 will feature thematic panels with the writers. Simultaneous translation Italian-English-Italian will be available the 28th September.
