Paralympics Day 10: Sarah Slattery gets late call-up to Equestrian final while Mary Fitzgerald goes in shot put
It’s the tenth and final day of competition at the 2024 Paris Paralympics. It’s been a very successful games for Ireland, winning six medals, with three more competitors looking to add to our tally today.
First up is Richael Timothy in the C1-3 Road Race, with the Castlerea Cycling Club member braced for four laps of the 14.2km track. Timothy has already been in action in the velodrome and on the road, bringing a very busy week to an end.
Mary Fitzgerald is next up in the F40 Shot Put final, hoping to improve on her seventh place finish in Tokyo.
Cavan powerlifter Britney Arendse will be our final competitor in these games, competing in the up to 79kg final at 4.00.
