There is something for everyone at South Dublin County Council’s Climate Fest, a Free Family Fun Day! From games and facepainting to clothes swaps, clothes repairs, bicycle repairs and
smoothie bikes, this event will provide fun for all and education on more sustainable living.
At the Climate Fest there will be stalls featuring businesses and organisations from all over Dublin that focus on the sustainable economy and eco-friendly living. There will be talks
throughout the day to inform attendees on the small steps we can all take to affect some positive Climate Action!
Additionally, there will be council representatives there to speak with locals about their Climate Action Plan 2024; which aims to make Dublin a climate resilient city and reduce greenhouse gas emission by 51% by 2030. There will also be representatives from the Dublin Urban River Life programme and South Dublin County Council park rangers to educate and inform attendees about the amazing biodiversity that’s right on their doorstep, and how you can best appreciate it.
