Harvey Street, Derry: Police at scene after serious Derry fire

A woman has been found dead at the scene of a fire in Derry, an MLA has said.
Police confirmed officers are at the location of a blaze in the Harvey Street area.
A white forensics tent has been set up at the scene.
Local SDLP MLA Mark H Durkan said the matter is being treated as “suspicious”.
He said it was “harrowing and heartbreaking” news.
“Harvey Street is the scene of a major police investigation this morning,” Mr Durkan said
“Fire Service responded to a fire in a flat at around 5am this morning, where they made the harrowing and heartbreaking discovery that there was a woman dead in the flat.
