Sin É, Wednesday 4th September
The gal who both ‘Galway Girl’ songs are written about, Amy Walsh, is debuting her first solo stand up comedy show in Ireland!
After starting her comedy career in Ireland in 2018, Amy set off to Vancouver to see why so many Irish people had fled there.
Amy has toured all over Canada, Ireland and the UK. She has previously opened for Dave Merheje, Julie Kim, Shane Todd, Owen Colgan and Adrienne Iapalucci. She has featured in numerous festivals such as Just For Laughs Vancouver, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Electric Picnic, Galway Comedy Festival, Bray Comedy Festival, Groove in the Wild and is set to feature at All Together Now Festival and to open for Kyla Cobbler this Autumn. Amy runs her own monthly dog friendly comedy show ‘Big Dog Energy’ to sold out audiences across Canada.
Amy’s highly anticipated show promises to deliver a fresh, hilarious perspective on Irishness abroad, life, mental health, love, and the absurdities of modern living.
