Man (20s) dies in single-vehicle collision in Kerry

A man has died in a single vehicle collision in Keel, Ballyheigue in Co. Kerry.

The incident occurred at 7.20am on Sunday morning.

The driver of the car was pronounced deceased at the scene. No other injuries were reported at the time.

The scene is currently undergoing technical examination by Forensic Collision Investigators.

The road is closed with local diversions in place.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time of the incident between 6.30am and 7.30am today Sunday 18th August 2024, are asked to make this footage available to investigating gardaí.
