Electric Picnic in Stradbally, Co Laois

It’s good news for the 75,000 attending the final day of Electric Picnic, as today will be dry across most of the country apart from a few passing light showers.

It will be a bright day with spells of sunshine developing through the morning and afternoon.

Feeling cool in the north and west with highest temperatures of 15 to 17 degrees, but warmer elsewhere including at Stradbally, in Co Laois.

However, things will start to change from tonight, when it will be cloudy with patchy rain and drizzle as temperatures drop to 9 degrees.

It’s not looking too good for those waking up tomorrow morning as they pack up and leave Ireland’s largest arts and music festival.

It will be overcast, wet and breezy on Monday with rain spreading eastwards across the country through the day.

There is the potential for some heavy falls and spot flooding in the south.

Highest temperatures of 15 to 19 degrees.
