Irish student on J1 Visa robbed at gunpoint in Buffalo, New York

An Irish student on a J1 Visa who was robbed at gunpoint in the US has spoken of his “shocking” experience as it “came out of nowhere”. The moment Evan Glynn was threatened by the man with the weapon was caught on camera and shared by the owners of the Banshee Irish Pub in Buffalo, New York where he works. In the video, a black-clad figure can be seen menacingly confronting Glynn on the street near to the pub’s location on Franklin in the Chippewa district. The young Irishman recounted his experiences to TV channel 7 News on Tuesday afternoon.
