It’s good news for over 75,000 revellers attending Electric Picnic this weekend, as it will be dry and warm day with plenty of sunshine.

There national forecaster has said it will be both warm and sunny today, getting the weekend off to the perfect start for festival-goers.

There may be the odd rain shower in the west and northwest, however those at Stradbally are unlikely to be affected.

Highest temperatures of 17 to 21 degrees today, warmest in the east of the country, dropping to as low as 8 degrees during a dry night tonight.

While tomorrow will be cloudy with scattered showers moving in across the country, for those at EP, Met Éireann said they will not be affected by the rain.

It will stay fully dry in the east though the day, with sunny spells and highs of 19 degrees, dropping to as low as 9 degrees with the odd shower at night.

The final day for those at Ireland’s largest music festival will be dry with a mix of cloud and some sunny spells,…
