Figures show RTÉ Radio listenership on the rise
Oliver Callan’s morning radio show on RTÉ Radio One has increased its listenership to 336,000, 2,000 higher than the listenership on Ryan Tubridy’s time on the programme.
Figures released by the Joint National Listenership Research (JNLR) survey for July 2023 show it is the third most listened to radio programme in the country.
Morning Ireland is the most popular radio programme in the country with 486,000 listeners, a yearly increase of 46,000.
This is followed by Today with Claire Byrne, which has 334,000 listeners.
Liveline with Joe Duffy also saw a boost, with a listenership of 302,000.
Brendan O’Connor on Saturday has 340,000 listeners, with 346,000 listeners tuning in to the second most listened to programme in the country on Sunday
This will come as a welcome boost for RTÉ following months of controversies.
