Man hospitalised with serious injuries after crash between car and truck in Co Limerick
Gardaí remain at the scene of a road traffic collision that occurred this morning on the N69 in Limerick which saw a man in his 20s rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
The incident occurred shortly before 7am on Wednesday, August 7, on the N69 at Foynes, and involved two vehicles which it is understood to be a car and a truck.
Emergency services immediately rushed to the scene and a man in his 20s was taken to Cork University Hospital for serious injuries.
Part of the road remains closed and local diversions are still in place.
A garda spokesperson told the Irish Independent: “Gardaí and Emergency Services attended the scene of a two-vehicle road traffic collision involving a truck and a car, that occurred on the N69 at Foynes, Co. Limerick this morning, Wednesday 7th August 2024, at approximately 7am.
“One man (20s) was conveyed to Cork University Hospital for treatment for serious injuries.
