Convicted rapist Michael Murray has brought a High Court challenge against sanctions he received from prison authorities for allegedly making a threatening phone call stating there was a bomb at the home of the Taoiseach Simon Harris.

The High Court heard that Murray rejects a finding that he breached the prison rules by making a threatening phone call on June 26 last from the Midlands Prison, where he is currently incarcerated.
