A close-knit town in north county Meath is coming to terms this morning with the devastating loss of two lifelong friends in a three-vehicle motorbike crash yesterday afternoon.

Both men, who have been named locally as Stuart O’Connell and Mark Eager, lost their lives in the crash around eight kilometres outside Oldcastle at Bellaney, Oldcastle, C. Meath just after 4:30pm on Sunday.
