Tralee swimmer Elaine Burrows Dillane has conquered waters in the North Sea, English Channel, and Galway Bay, to name a few, but perhaps one of her warmest high sea welcomes came in Tralee Bay on a recent swim.

Elaine, who became the first woman to complete the Irish Triple Crown of swims in 2021, was swimming from Blennerville to Sandy Bay in the Maharess on Wednesday when joined by a pod of friendly dolphins, known locally as ‘The Fenit Three’.
