Hit-and-run victim Mikey Farrelly had fulfilled lifelong dream just weeks before his death, funeral hears

Michael ‘Mikey’ Farrelly (40) was walking home when he was struck by a stolen car in Baldoyle, Dublin.

The man fatally injured in a hit-and-run incident in Baldoyle last week had just fulfilled a lifelong ambition of recording an album of his own songs and music in recent weeks, mourners at his funeral were told today.

Michael ‘Mikey’ Farrelly (40) was walking home along the coast road of the north Dublin town at around 1am last Wednesday when he was struck by a stolen car that failed to remain at the scene.
