The Open 2024, Day Four: Live updates from Royal Troon as Shane Lowry looks for second Claret Jug

We’ve reached the final day of the 152nd Open at Royal Troon.

Billy Horschel leads the way on four under par, with six players –Thirston Lawrence, Sam Burns, Russell Henley, Xander Schauffele, Justin Rose and Dan Brown – in the hunt a shot back. Alongside South African Lawrence in the final pairing, Horschel tees off at 2.25pm.

Ireland’s Shane Lowry had started Saturday at the top of the leaderboard on seven-under, but fell victim to the brutal conditions to card a six-over 77, leaving him with work to do on one-under.

2019 Open champion Lowry is about to get underway, teeing off at 1.45pm with Australia’s Adam Scott who is on even-par.
