Gardaí are at the scene of a fire at a site earmarked for asylum seekers in Coolock, north Dublin.
Footage on social media shows the fire destroyed a JCB digger, which was being used to dismantle the camp, before spreading to other areas.
The Malahide Road is currently closed and diversions are in place.
A Garda spokesperson said this is an ongoing public order incident, and cannot provide further details at this time.
Dublin Fire Brigade said “Three fire engines from Kilbarrack, North Strand and Finglas fire stations along with a turntable ladder are on scene.”
