Ireland women’s national team manager Eileen Gleeson admits it has been a “dark week” for her sport following the devastating historical allegations unearthed by last Sunday’s joint RTE /Sunday Independent investigation.

Gleeson and the majority of her squad watched the Girls In Green documentary in their Castleknock HQ on Sunday evening, then discussed the issues involved.
