Brian Dowling and Arthur Gourounlian announce birth of ‘beautiful’ new daughter Blu
The radio presenter also thanked his older sister, Aoife, who acted as surrogate for the pregnancy
The radio presenter posted a photograph of his newborn in his arms last night as he proudly stood beside his husband, DWTS judge Arthur.
Brian and Arthur previously spoke about how the Dubliner’s sister, Aoife, had offered to be their surrogate and help them have a second child.
Underneath the image of Ava, Brian wrote on Instagram: “Please be upstanding for the arrival of our BEAUTIFUL DAUGHTER, Blu Amar Rose Dowling Gourounlian.
“Blu was delivered safely on Sunday, June 23rd, at 13:33h, weighing 6lb 2ozs.
“Myself & Papa @gourounlian are ABSOLUTELY BESOTTED & actually can’t believe we now have two little beauties to keep us on our toes.”
He also praised his sister Aoife – describing her as a superstar, writing: “@effidy_dowling_, you are a SUPERSTAR & we are, as always,
“FOREVER GRATEFUL. You stayed so calm, considering it wasn’t exactly the birth plan we had initially hoped…
