It was to be a spectacular night. But as the lights dim, the stage at the Aviva Stadium remains in darkness. Instead of The Best Day, it’s a Cruel Summer, as it is announced that pop doyenne Taylor Swift won’t be appearing after all. The Eras tour is cancelled and they have to head home and Shake it Off.

I’m joking! Swifties everywhere can relax. Tay-Tay is coming to Dublin next week for three scheduled concerts and they are sure to be stormers.
