Bank of Ireland customers face disruption as their app and website is currently down.
In a post on social media, it has apologised to customers for the inconvenience.
Customers have expressed their outrage on social media as people attempt to carry out transactions ahead of the weekend.
“Our app and 365 online are currently unavailable. We are working to fix this as soon as possible and we apologise for any inconvenience.”
In April, Bank of Ireland’s online banking services suffered an outage.
Last August, the bank was hit by a major outage which led to significant disruption for customers and chaotic queues at some ATMs.
