Three men arrested over alleged harassment of Taoiseach Simon Harris
Gardaí in the Wexford/Wicklow Division supported by the Special Detective Unit detained the three men, for alleged offences contrary to Non-Fatal Offences against the Person Act, this morning, Thursday, June 20.
The action is part of ongoing probes into the alleged harassment of an elected official.
The men, two of whom are aged in their 40s and one age in his 30s, are currently detained at garda stations in County Wicklow under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
A spokesperson for An Garda Síochána said there is “no further comment at this time.”
There have been a number of protests held outside the Taoiseach’s family home in Greystones, Wicklow, in recent months.
Gardaí disbanded one of these protests last week but did not make any arrests.
