A body of a woman was discovered at a house in Co Tipperary yesterday evening.
Gardaí say they are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the death of a woman at a residence in Newport, Co Tipperary. The woman, who was aged in her 40s, was discovered deceased at a residence in Newport on Tuesday evening, June 18.
A post-mortem is expected to take place later today at University Hospital Limerick. The results of the post-mortem will determine the course of the investigation.
A spokesperson from An Garda Síochána confirmed that the Coroner has been notified and investigations are currently ongoing.
