Katie Quinn, from Listowel in Kerry, passed away on June 13, in the care of her family, at University Hospital Kerry.

“Katie will be deeply missed by her heartbroken family, her mother Mary, father Mike, sisters Tina and Michelle and her adored nephew Rían, her grandparents Pat and Chris, grandmother Bridget, Aunts Helena, Jackie and Trish and Uncle Mike,” a notice on RIP.ie reads.

“Katie will be fondly remembered by her relatives and many friends.”

Numerous tributes have been paid to Katie online.

“Still so hard to believe. Fond memories from my trips to Tralee and she always had time for a chat at events. Wil be sorely missed both on and off the stage,” reads one.

“Sincere sympathy to family and friends. Rest in peace Katie, our condolences to Mike, Mary, Tina, Michelle and the extended Quinn family.”
