Liniker

Born in Araraquara, in the State of São Paulo, singer and songwriter Liniker has been involved with art since childhood. She grew up watching her mother and uncles participate in samba rock circles, an experience that planted a seed that would later blossom into her own artistic journey. Liniker studied at the Escola Livre de Teatro in Santo André, a place that helped unlock many of her creative layers. Liniker gained widespread recognition when she released the EP Cru (2015) online, under the name Liniker e os Caramelows. Since then, she has toured across Brazil and internationally, releasing the albums Remonta (2016) and Goela Abaixo (2019), which was nominated for a Latin Grammy in the “Best Rock or Alternative Music Album in Portuguese” category.

Liniker’s latest project, CAJU, was co-produced with Fejuca and Gustavo Ruiz, the same trio behind Indigo Borboleta Anil. CAJU blends deeply personal stories with a surprising mix of styles, ranging from pop, samba, jazz, and house to pagode, arrocha, disco, and reggae. The album features special guest appearances by Lulu Santos, BaianaSystem, ANAVITÓRIA, Pabllo Vittar, Priscila Senna, and more.
