Doireann Garrihy and husband Mark Mehigan expecting first child

The RTÉ’s Dancing With the Stars presenter, who formerly worked as a presenter for 2FM’s breakfast show, took to Instagram to reveal the happy news to her 340,000 followers.

“We are beside ourselves with joy. Here’s to the greatest chapter yet,” the happy couple wrote on Garrihy’s social media channels.

The couple, who tied the knot at the end of last year, first began a relationship in 2022. Mr Mehigan had a comedy podcast The Sunday Roast.

As well as that, his cousin John John, who is a producer on 2FM, was going along to a comedy gig of his. Intrigued, Garrihy looked him up and sent him a DM.

After announcing their engagement in November 2023, the couple then celebrated their marriage at the exclusive K Club Hotel and Golf Estate in Kildare just over a year later, in December 2024.
