Daniel O'Donnell forced to tell fans he is not sick in hospital after scam

Singer Daniel O’Donnell has been forced to make a video telling fans that is not sick in hospital.

It follows another online scam, pretending to be the entertainer.

The Donegal singer has been forced to tell fans that he is well after fraudsters tried to claim he was ill.

Daniel took to his own social media pages after making a video appealing to fans not to engage with the scammers or send them money.

It follows the emergence of pictures claiming to be Daniel sick in hospital.

Daniel pleaded with fans “I’m just doing a wee message to let you know that I’m feeling very well. I’ve seen a few pictures up leading people to believe that I’m in hospital and very unwell with a picture of me and obviously that’s a fake, ‘doctured’ picture telling people that I need help.

“So please ignore all of these things that you see on Facebook. I’m very well and I hope that you’re well too.

“We can’t do very much about these scammers but all we can do is to let you know…
