More than 12,000 runners took part in the first Dublin City Half Marathon under brilliant blue skies on Sunday morning.
The 21.1-kilometre course travelled through the north side of the city and along the coast road before wrapping up on Guild Street, near the statue of Luke Kelly.
Killian Mooney of Dundrum South Dublin Athletics Club crossed the finish line in the men’s race with a winning time of 65 minutes and 40 seconds.
Nichola Sheridan from Bohermeen AC in Co Meath was the first woman over the finish line with a time of 77 minutes and 59 seconds.
