Public Warning

The Workman’s Club, Saturday 19th April

Public Warning is a four piece indie-rock band from Ashbourne, Co. Meath. Formed in 2015 when lifelong friends Adam O’Dea (Vocals), JP Roche (Guitar), Robbie Szpara (Bass) and Mark Tuite (Tambourine) came together in a bid to impress girls. From humble beginnings playing covers at school talent shows and local events, they soon discovered their own sound and began writing and recording their own original music. As they matured, so did their sound. Adam’s powerful vocals pushing their clever lyricism over JP’s driving guitars, with Robbie and Mark’s tight, decisive rhythm tying it all together. Public Warning’s growth can be seen through their music, their releases to date stemming from experiences they shared throughout their youth. Their 9 years of experience together shines through particularly in their live shows, a meticulously perfected performance, alongside phenomenally endearing crowd work, culminating in loyal fans and casual listeners alike unable to resist jumping to the beat.
