US defence secretary Pete Hegseth has attacked the journalist who was inadvertently added to a top-secret government group chat detailing plans to bomb Houthi rebels in Yemen.
It is a highly embarrassing security breach by the US government, and exposes the fact that it is using a publicly available messaging app that has been targeted by Russian intelligence, for highly sensitive operations.
