Gardaí charge 17 people in crackdown on burglaries and thefts in north Dublin

Gardaí have arrested and charged 17 people as part of a major crackdown on robbery, burglary and theft in the north Dublin area.
A total of 38 charges are being brought against those arrested in this phase of the investigation.
Out of those arrested, 16 adults are are scheduled to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice today, Thursday, March 6, 2025, at 10:30am.
One juvenile will appear before the Children’s Court in Smithfield.
The arrests were made by gardaí based in the north of Dublin as part of ongoing investigations under Operation Thor and Operation Táirge.
