A child (11) has been taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following an incident at a north Dublin primary school.
Gardaí said the incident involved two children, both of whom attend the school.
The child’s injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
Gardaí said they are in contact with the parents of both children, and are liaising with school management and staff.
They also said they are continuing to engage with all relevant State agencies regarding the incident.
An Garda Síochána also said in a statement that there is no concern for public safety.
