Three Ireland is to sponsor Doireann Garrihy’s new drivetime programme on 2FM, which launches on Monday.

RTÉ put the sponsorship offer out to market last month with an asking price of €225,000 for a one-year deal.

The package includes 10 x 10-second sponsor-credited stings in each three-hour show, and 24 sponsor-credited promos across the week on 2FM. The drive-time slot had a listenership of 145,000 in the latest JNLR survey.

Garrihy is returning to RTÉ just nine months after leaving the station saying it was “time for ventures new”. Her departure in May 2024, after five years, followed the exits of Jennifer Zamparelli and The 2 Johnnies, with Donncha O’Callaghan leaving later.
