Here’s the good news: this column is a new rules free zone today. I’ve decided to cast my eye over what else is happening in the world of the GAA.
Only those eager-eyed anoraks will have noticed that the GAA published its annual report for 2024 in the last week. There was a bit of ‘all kinds of everything’ about it – some good news, some bad news. And, perhaps more worryingly, indicators that there may be trouble ahead.
