Female Sinn Féin politicians urge Simon Harris to take Dáil questions on Senator Martin Conway
The Senator resigned the party whip and an investigation is underway by the party after he was arrested for being intoxicated on O’Connell Street last month.
Senator Conway also previously apologised to a former Fine Gael staffer over an incident which took place in 2018. He apologised in 2020, following an investigation by the party.
“You are aware of the very serious concerns around the behaviour of Senator Conway,” reads a joint letter from TD Louise O’Reilly as well as Senators Pauline Tully, Maria McCormack, Joanne Collins and Nicole Ryan.

“It is of particular concern that Senator Conway allegedly acted inappropriately with a member of Oireachtas party political staff,” the letter says while alleging that a sum of ten thousand euros was paid out in respect of this incident.
