Simon Easterby has explained his decision to stick with Sam Prendergast at out-half for Sunday’s Six Nations clash against Scotland, admitting that Jack Crowley can feel disappointed with what he described a “tough” call.

The Munster out-half impressed off the bench in Ireland’s 27-22 win over England last Saturday and there have been calls for his promotion to the starting XV in the media, but he must make do with a place on the bench once again as Easterby opts for continuity for the trip to Murrayfield.
