Neil Robinson’s loud snoring may have saved his wife’s life, after the worst storm to hit Ireland in 80 years caused havoc at their home in Castleconnell, Co Limerick.
Robinson, a politics professor at the University of Limerick, told the Sunday Independent that his wife Maura Adshead decided to get up “in disgust” and sleep in another room when his snoring got too loud.
