Eleven minutes after he tore the ACL in his left knee, Dan Sheehan tackled Siya Kolisi, who, as it turned out, would soon point the way in terms of his miraculous recovery from a similarly serious injury.

After all, South Africa’s inspirational captain defied the odds the previous year to lead his country into their successful World Cup title defence in France after he overcame his ACL setback just 119 days after suffering the initial injury.
