Cycle to Brigit’s Well: A Cleansing Ceremony and Pilgrimage

Meeting Point: Gatekeeper’s Hut, Phoenix Park South Entrance, Saturday 1st February

Join us for a unique cycle pilgrimage to the hidden Brigit’s Well in Phoenix Park, led by Dr. Karen Ward, co-rediscoverer of Brigid’s Way. Beginning at the Chesterfield Avenue entrance near a Dublin City bike station, we will set our intentions as a ‘mini tribe’ and cycle together through the park, stopping along the way to hear the stories and legends of St. Brigit, a timeless inspiration to women throughout the ages.

As we journey to the well, Karen will reflect on Brigit’s enduring influence and how her legacy continues to empower modern women. Upon arrival, we will take part in a special Cleansing Ceremony, using the pure spring water of Brigit’s Well to refresh and renew ourselves. The ceremony will be accompanied by song, and you are invited to bring your Brigit crosses to bless in the waters, connecting with her healing energy.

This event offers a peaceful and meaningful way to honour Brigit’s spirit while embracing the beauty of Phoenix Park.
