Flâneuse Walk & Sketch: Celebrating Women in Dublin’s History

Meeting Point: Rosie Hackett Bridge, Saturday 1st February

This Brigit’s Day, we celebrate the flâneuse—the female flâneur—acknowledging how women experience and engage with urban spaces in deeply personal and intuitive ways. Join us for a leisurely walk through Dublin’s streets, sketching and uncovering everyday places rich in history and connected to iconic Irish women.

Led by illustrator Eva Kelly, known for her art inspired by people, places, and daily moments, this guided urban sketching tour will invite you to slow down, observe, and reimagine well-known landmarks through the lens of the women who once walked these streets. Come explore Dublin’s hidden histories while rediscovering your own connection to the city.
