Family Straw Weaving workshop with the Armagh Rhymers

National Museum of Ireland- Decorative Arts and History, Monday 3rd February

Join the Armagh Rhymers for a hands on straw weaving workshop to celebrate St. Brigid’s bank holiday weekend. Get the chance to make a Brigid cross and learn about the masked tradition of rhyming with its unique blend of music, drama, song and dance.

Be inspired by the famous straw masks worn by The Armagh Rhymers to portray characters such as Brigid and the other Saints of Ireland in their colourful performances and make your own props to use in the interactive Spring Spectacular Show.

This event is free. Booking not required, however spaces are limited. Spaces are offered on a first-come first-served basis
