The body of a woman has been discovered at the scene of a “serious incident” at a domestic residence in Co Cavan.
The body was discovered at the scene in a rural area near Ballyconnell, Co Cavan, on Saturday night.
Gardaí said the body remained at the scene overnight.
A man was seriously injured and brought to hospital for treatment.
